It is Southlands Christian Schools’ primary task to touch the hearts of children with the reality of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
According to Scripture, children are a heritage to the Lord. As such, they require guidance, love, and prayer to become thoroughly equipped men and women. Education, which enables a child to live a successful and fulfilled life in this uncertain world, must focus on the whole child––spirit, mind, body, and emotions.

Established in 1979, Southlands Christian has become one of Southern California’s most respected private schools. We are fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges as a 501C3 non-profit organization.
Our college prep, co-educational school is comprised of Preschool, Transitional Kinder, Elementary, Middle and High Schools, as well as a Private Satellite Program. Currently, 100% of our students go on to college. 87% of our graduates attend Top 100 Universities, including the UC’s, Boston College, Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell, Harvard University, NYU, Penn State
A Strong Well-Rounded Educational Experience
Southlands Christian students are presented with a rigorous and challenging course of academic study that prepares them for success in the most competitive colleges and universities. We currently offer 22 AP courses, and, while public schools might have 33% of their students enrolled in AP courses, Southlands currently has 75% of our high school students enrolled in AP course courses. SCS also focuses on providing spiritual development that encourages children to get to know God better. Children practice their faith daily and are encouraged to grow in their faith, which teaches them to lead lives of excellence and integrity that truly glorify and honor God.
