Welcome to Rowland Heights Preschool, serving the community since 1987. Our developmental program encourages each child to grow socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and spiritually, in a safe and nurturing environment. We offer support for non-English speaking families through translators fluent in Chinese, Spanish, and Korean.

Developmentally Appropriate Learning Environment
Our curriculum is designed to foster a developmentally appropriate learning environment that empowers preschool children to be confident, successful, and lifelong learners. Our caring and educated teachers use play, music, manipulatives, art, technology, small groups, and developmental centers to create engaging and effective lessons. We provide daily instruction in alphabet, numbers, pre-writing, and reading skills that are appropriately designed for each age group. We believe in educating the whole child through purposefully planned indoor and outdoor activities, library time, Spanish instruction, music, cooking, and weekly chapels.

Our teachers present meaningful opportunities for learning that encourage physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual growth in each individual child, following developmental milestones and state requirements for age-appropriate learning.
Our experienced and devoted staff shows love through giving hugs, saying prayers, and providing individualized attention for each student. We are committed to infusing the message of the Gospel in each and every activity that we do, as we believe that children are a gift from God, loved and created by an amazing God who has great plans for them.
