Lauren Pong from Congressman Ed Royce’s Office Visits Art Students

Last week, Lauren Pong from the Congressman Ed Royce’s office spent a day with our art students. Ms. Pong gave students an overview of the annual Congressional Art Competition for High Schools put on by our nation’s capital. Students became intrigued when they learned that SCS entered the competition for the first time in the spring of 2016, and took First Place and two Honorable Mentions in Digital Arts. Graduating student Yuxin Zhang’s winning work is currently touring the 39th Congressional District offices.
