Students Share the Love of Jesus at Christmas

SCS students are working hard to send gifts to needy children this year. The elementary students are collecting gift boxes until December 20th, which will be given to students in Mexico.

This event was started by a couple, Mary and Hector Manriquez,

who had been in the Southlands family for many years.

Now, it has become one of Southlands’ annual traditions.

Additionally, the National Honor Society is hosting a toy drive in cooperation with 89.7 KSGN and Chick-fil-A.

The toys that are donated between December 9th and 14th will be given to at-risk children in the Inland Empire.

Through giving to those in need, students get to experience the joy of blessing other people

and learn to develop a lifestyle of caring for others.
