MOS: Sue Yoon
Southlands Christian Schools’ Elementary and Middle School Principal, Mrs. Sue Yoon.
She found our Southlands family by driving around Southern California looking for the best preschool for her son, over twenty years ago.
Mrs. Yoon’s background as a 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade teacher gave her a unique insight into contemporary education. After teaching at Southlands, she eventually became Vice-Principal of the Elementary school that further enlightened her understanding of the various levels on campus.
Her favorite event on campus is and has always been the First Day of School.
She said as students arrive, it’s incredible to see the energy, excitement, hope, and anticipation that happens when our faculty and administration team ‘meet and greet’ families.
When asked about what it meant to “Stay Southlands Strong”, she responded, “It means staying and living in the Word of God.“ We pray for students’ wellbeing: academically, emotionally, mentally, socially, physically, and most of all, spiritually!.
We are grateful to Mrs. Yoon for the great work she’s done since becoming a valuable member of our Southlands community.
