Spring Fling & Jog-A-Thon This Saturday!

The campus is buzzing with excitement as SCS students and staff make preparations for this year’s Spring Fling event on May 5th. Students are wearing their Jog-a- thon shirts every Wednesday and raising money to support the event and the school. So far, in the preschool, Mrs. Olivia’s Terrific Turtles & Mrs. Linda’s Precious Penguins are leading the way with the most money raised, however other classes are right behind them. In the elementary, the 4th grade is hoping to win first prize as they have currently raised the most money, but they’ll have to keep ahead of the other classes, which aren’t far behind. SCS would like to voice a special thanks to all the students, parents, and friends that have given so generously to this event so far. We’re looking forward to upgrading the SCS campus network to give our students faster, more consistent access to web-based educational tools and technology, and to pave the way for the next phase of the iPad implementation on campus.

If you haven’t done so already, be sure to mark your calendar and be at the SCS Spring Fling this coming Saturday, May 5 on the SCS campus. We’ll start the morning off at 9:30 with the Jog-a-thon and there will be games, booths, side-walk art, gourmet food trucks, and much more. Bring the whole family out for a morning of fun!
